This is a lovely pair of typical Staffordshire style mantlepiece/fireside dogs. Note condition report below The figures are is unmarked and as such difficult to date snd many later copies of such dogs were made. The dogs are antiqued however and have an aged look. They have a slightly lustre finish. The dogs do sadly have some damage as per photos but this does add to the antique charm somewhat! One of the dogs has some repaired breaks and quite extensive damage to its foot as per photos but thus doesn't effect usage as it is hidden by the other paw. 14cm high by 10cm wide each...more
