A pair of Vintage Blue & White Ceramic Jugs with attractive Blue Folk Art Patterns. The large round jug could be used as a water pitcher, and is stamped with style number 2010-15 The small jug is perfect for Milk, Cream or Sauce Jug, and stamped West Germany, Style 422-12 Both make excellent flower vases! We are always into Blues, so love the shades used in these earthenware jugs - and their charmingly round shape. The speckled Salt Glazed finish of the pottery really sets them apart and adds to the character of ceramics from this era. We think that they were possibly made by the Scheurich pottery in Germany, during the boom period for this style during the 60s/70s. As always, we have picked these jugs as they will look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic.
