Alexander Menus (b.1964). This is an extra large painting with text written in a foreign langauge to the rear.Using an app translator the text reads ‘Persian bathing of the Persians in the Persian Gulf 120×160 1989’. Signed to the bottom right. It could possibly be said that the three similar looking characters in the water are stylised Persian soldiers. This is reflected in the similarity of their head gear to that worn by Persian soldiers together with the reference to Persian bathing. Approx dimensions: H:120cm W:160cm D:2cm.
