This vintage bowl by Wedgewood of Etruria and Barlaston was produced in the 1980s for Frederick Warne and Co who own the copyright to The Beatrix Potter merchandise. It features Peter Rabbit being chase off the cucumber patch by Mr Mc Gregory with a quote from The famous Beatrix Potter Peter Rabbit children's story 'But round the end of a cucumber frame, whom should he meet but Mr McGregor! he jumped up and ran after Peter, waving a rake and calling out, Stop thief!' The bowl is very sturdy and weighs 560g. It is the ideal size and shape for baby's meals with high sides for catching food on the spoon. It does have signs of age and wear with surface scratches from spoon use and on one side of the rim there is a tiny chip whilst on the opposite side there is a small crack which I have shown in the photos. I have priced with the condition in mind. The bowl has an outside diameter of 17cm and an internal diameter of 13.5cm. All items are carefully packaged with used or reusable materials....more
