Condition: Craquelure and small losses of paint to centre and top right. Scuffs and marks to wooden frame. Biography: Born in the Algiers and studied Fine Art Academy there under Louis Fernez. Later, at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris, he studied with Roger Chapelin-Midi. He was awarded the prestigious second Prize of Rome in 1959.
