These brightly coloured rugs are created by weaving together recycled clothing and fabrics, incorporating a number of different textures creating one unique rug. You will never find the same again! However, in this case the maker has used a much finer wool, creating a much cleaner and simpler finish. This is often found in rugs from the Azilal province, which are much harder to source. Often these rugs from this province are largely cream, with simple geometric colourful patterns strewn across their canvas. This rug features a diamond motif that runs slightly to the right of the centre along the whole rug. Texturally this rug is incredibly soft and less harsh on the eye than perhaps some other rag rugs, given its use of finer cloth.
