Portmadoc teal oblong dish - Porthmadog turquoise

A show-stopping teal oblong dish with yellow handles. It is from the Welsh pottery Portmadoc or Porthmadog which ran from the 1960s until the 1990s in Snowdon Mill. The glazes are extremely rich in tone with a jewel-like quality. The dish would be great for serving Christmas nibbles on! Or for storing your trinkets / rings etc. This is a vintage item and so may show signs of its previous life. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. The plate is slightly bowed, however this is part of the design rather than a flaw. Please see photos for details. It is approximately 2.2cm in height, 13cm in width and 26cm in length.
