*Priory Castings Traditional Characters Hedgehog*

This is a beautifully detailed vintage hedgehogs ornament from the Traditional Characters range by Priory Castings. Made in England, this is a heavy, skillfully crafted, lifelike wood/bronze effect resin sculpture of a pair of hedgehogs. I cannot find any information regarding the company, so assume it’s no longer up and running. There are lots of vintage pieces to be found online but the hedgehogs piece is especially hard to find, making it rare and collectable. No manufacturers marked or inscribed on this piece but the the original manufacturers sticker is intact on the felt base but is a little rubbed. This piece is beautiful quality and is showing only minor signs of use and wear (commensurate with age) but is otherwise in excellent vintage condition. Please note, there is a tiny, almost unnoticeable chip to one of the hedgehog’s ears. ***Please see pics for details.*** ***Item bought as seen.
