Vintage 1970s Spring Onion Pot. Green, Yellow, Brown Stripy Ceramic Spring Onion or Scallion Vase with Face, made by Dee Cee Pottery in the South West of England. Measurements as follows ~ Height 11cm Opening 7cm Base 6cm Anthropomorphic fruit and vegetable serving vessels were a big trend 60s and 70s and what we love most about this is that it was completely normal to use something as Psychedelic as this to keep your spring onions fresh!! It has to be said that this guy has a slightly scary, Wicker Man feel about him (!) but as always, we love its quirkiness. If all else fails, the reverse offers a lovely rustic stripe, and would also make a brilliant small utensil jar. As always, we have picked this piece as it will look equally at home in a retro or modern aesthetic. In very good vintage condition.
