Rare and beautiful vintage 1950s Italian hand painted art pottery jug/ pitcher marked Avellone Vietri. Vietri, the town which has a rich history for creating beautiful ceramics for centuries is nestled along the Amalfi Coast. Very much in the style of Gaetano Giordano an esteemed ceramic artist of the day. Unmarked as ICAV but strikingly similar Abstract design of flora and fauna. Measures approximately 8 inches tall, diameter at the base is 4.25 inches and at the rim 4.5 inches. Condition is excellent with no damage....more
