A pair of small Purbeck Pottery vitreous stoneware goblets in the Portland design made in Bournemouth 'with clay from the Purbeck Hills' in the 1970s/80s. Designed in a grey speckled glaze to the inner and top half of the goblet, the lower part is footed in a matt treacle glaze and the bowl of the goblet is a textured glossy treacle glaze. They weigh 225g and 195g as one is slightly more bulbous than the other due to the hand made process. They measure about 9cm/9.5 tall and 7cm wide. They are a lovely unique, quality pair which are both usable and decorative and I believe them to be quite rare in style. Please browse my shop and if you are interested in more than one item message me so I can adjust the postage cost. All items are carefully packaged with used or reusable materials before being sent to their new homes....more
