Adorable and rare Victorian Staffordshire Pottery lidded pot/ tobacco jar / crock. Dayes to around 1850. Home sweet home to the lid and a pretty hand-painted design of flowers and butterflies with a tied bow. Gilt trim to the base and handle. Slight discolouration to the lid edge and ten base is a darker colour I suspect caused by age or possibly from the firing process. No Chips or cracks to the lid with a pin prick size nibble to the inner rim. A really beautiful rare piece which could be used for a number of things or simply as decoration....more
