A rare vintage blue and white transfer printed cheese dish in the Chariot pattern by Cauldon Pottery. The pattern, which depicts a horse and chariot in front of a classical temple, is depicted on the sides of the lid and the base where it is framed by a regular leave pattern edged by chevrons. This border adorns the top of the lid and the handle. The base measures 24cm by 20cm. The lid measures 18cm long and 14cm wide. The height together to the top of the handle is 15cm.
