Rare Vintage Porcelain Green Praying Buddha Lamp

A mid-century 1970s est Buddha Table Lamp with original lampshade. Very rare find! This mid-worship kneeling buddha is sure to bring enLIGHTenment to any room! Pastel green in colour and made from porcelain, it adds a calming feel to the interior decor. The details are so intricate that you notice something new every time. Asian in origin, I believe it's either a Tibetan or Thai piece. Ideal for any Buddhist or someone that's just very zen! Great idea to pop it into a meditation room or yoga studio. The lamp is in great condition with minor defects. It has been tested and works. Runs on UK mains plug with a flip switch. 1 small hair line crack along the top of the hat & 1 small hole where the hands touch; these were both likely formed during the making process. The lamp shade has got two stains and some bobbling, as pictured. It also has a loose thread at the top. All of these are pictured. It's also slightly wobbly so it could do with fixing or replacing, but I believe it is the original lamp shade, so I do not want to part them. If you wanted to put a different shade on it, I'd love to see what you pick! You could even choose a more modern style if you wanted....more
