Walter Van Beirendonck, the so-called ‘outlandish’ Belgian fashion designer, and member of the Antwerp Six, created a capsule collection for IKEA in the Van Beirendonck signature style.. In regards to the collaboration with the swedish mega brand, Van Beirendonck said “I wanted to handle it almost like a fashion collection. I really wanted to gather a lot of inspiration, think about stories, think about ideas that could evolve into other things."
