It is an oleograph by ‘Fiehl Reproductions’ (Austrian, 1801-1840) Genuine Fiehl reproductions were produced using a secret image transfer system and then over-painted in oils by Academy of Arts trained artists. Masterpieces were copied right down to the brush strokes of the original painter.
