Retro Walther Glas Plates / Bowls

Walther Glas are known world wide for their beautiful glass craftmanship and there high quality glass art products. These beautiful decorative plates are certainly no exception. There is no surprise that Walther Glas have been in operation as a art glass producer since 1865, originating in Saxony, German and still producing world class glass today. There are two plates available, both are identical except for size. One is 9 inches, the other is 12 inches. These pretty retro decorative glass plates sold as a pair. Both of these plates are in perfect condition and are like new. Walther Glas seems to have that ability to always look great! The glass is a beautiful, smooth glass on the surface of the plate, with a decorative and beautifully frilled edging around the edge of the plates. On the reverse, the plates are very detailed and raised in texture with the floral detail raised and frosted and blended into the pretty red and pink edging. These Walther plates are more suited to a decorative arrangement or, if functional use is what you are looking for, use as a serving plate when hosting a dinner party or similar would be ideal for a touch of elegance...more
