This is a sweet and collectible ceramic money box by well known illustrator Rob Ryan. Dates from 2012. Ryan’s work is distinctive and immediately recognisable for the paper cutting technique to produce his images (although I believe he now mainly paints) . He also adds poetry or sayings , so his work has a gentle / lyrical feel. there have been exhibitions of his work, which features in advertising/ editorials etc. This piece is in lovely condition - no obvious defects . It is a cube with rounded edges that sits on a small plinth. 8.5cm high then 7.5X 7.5 Perfectly useable as a money box or just a nice decorative item...more
