A beautiful tea set by Royal Doulton in the "Yorktown" pattern, number TC1013. It is the older ribbed style and yet is still as fresh and attractive today as when it was first made. It features dark blue leaves and vines on a white fine translucent china and makes an elegant and understated impression. Each piece has been expertly crafted and feels lovely in the hand. It consists of a teapot, two cups and saucers, a milk jug, a sugar bowl and one small plate perfect for biscuits, cookies or cakes. This is a vintage item and so may show signs of its previous life. This tea set is in excellent condition with no chips, crazing or cracks. Please see photos for details.
