Rustic Studio Pottery Lidded Crockpot

This is one of our favourite finds, with its beautifully rounded form and functional minimal design. The shape and form leaning towards Japandi stylings it has a very oriental feel. A studio pottery piece, hand thrown and glazed in a light oatmeal base with brown speckles highlighted with a darker brown to the rim of the bowl. The piece has some unique potters detailing with organic mark making painted on in an iron brown glaze. Hand signed on the base with the makers mark. The crockpot is in great condition with no obvious chips or cracks and is a good size for serving up a family sized soup or casserole. Could be used from oven to table. There is a small fissure in the underside of the lid which would have happened in the firing process, this does not go through to the surface and does not affect the lid.
