A set of 4 German “Kreuzschwinger”chrome dining chairs, designed by German Architect Till Behrens and likely retailed by retailer Schlubach in the 1980s. Once in a while we’re lucky enough to stock some incredible pieces of design and this is one of them. Invented by German designer Till Behrens in the 1950s, the “Kreuzschwinger” - literally meaning “cross swinger”, the chair is truly innovative as it allows the user to swing gently forwards and backwards without any mechanical parts. Looks definitely deceive with these, and we can confirm they’re some of the comfiest dining chairs we’ve ever used. This is because the frame not only rocks, but moves with you, supporting different postures and body shapes. They’re quite heavy for their size and extremely sturdy.
