This beautiful hand made storage box, could be used to store a variety of items, it lends itself to the kitchen and the idea of being used to hold eggs, but also useful to store small items in a craft room. The design shows a yellow hen and two white baby chicks. The box measures 11.5 inch by 9 inch high with a depth of 5.75 inch, there are 6 small draws which internally measure roughly 2.5inch by 4 inch, the large drawer measures 4” by 10” internally. I have guessed at 1970 as there is no makers mark on this item. There are some minor marks on the base and a few signs of use, but all art work is un damaged. This is a very rare item....more
