Six Refurbished 1980s Habitat Faeroe Chairs

This set of vintage 80s Habitat chairs have been completely stripped from their original black paint. Each one has been sanded and then oiled using Osmo oil in honey colour. The seats have been re-corded using Danish paper cords, where broken or frayed pieces were. These can be seen as they are slightly lighter in colour. The wood frames are thought to be beech, but on some, the grain is not as beautiful as the others. Although these chairs date back to the late 70s early 80s the contrast between the chunky frames and Danish paper cord seats make them still look sleek and modern.
