Hi Thanks for looking at my listing for a hand painted vintage cabinet. This is a wooden cabinet with two doors and a catch on the outside. It has decorative panels on the front doors which have been a good feature for the finished look. After cleaning and prepping the cabinet, I applied two coats of Recycled chalk paint made by recolour to the interior. In full contrast to the purple, I painted the outer edges in recolour deep delta green chalky paint, and the decorative front panels, side panels and top were painted in two coats of Annie Sloan olive chalk paint. I used heavy distressing to the side panels and top, and then I sealed all the surfaces with clear wax. I’m very pleased with the finished product - the colour choices have given it just the sixties boho look I wanted, and it looks fantastic with so many contrasting finishes and colour combinations.
