A small Moroccan Jewellery box made from brass and camel bone. This small box is referred to as a Sandok and in Moroccan culture would have been given by a man to his wife with jewellery inside. The silvered brass frame shows some patina and oxidisation throughout. The camel bone panels on each side of the box are nicely aged and the hinged top opens and closes as it should.
