Small Vintage 1930s Honiton Pottery Vase. Measurements are as follows ~ 6cm Opening, 9.5cm Height, 6cm Base We love the cheerful, yet clean style of this vase - the colourful patterned design has a clear influence of the Art Deco Jazz Age. Honiton is a beautiful town in Devon, and the Pottery was set up in the High Street in 1918 by Charles Collard. Production steadily increased, reaching a peak in the 1930s. Pieces such as these were decorated over a white slip, which was already glazed, and have a strong resemblance to Poole pottery.
