A handsome little stoneware hand thrown jug made by Barnes & Rhone of Burton mid to late century. It is in a tan and yellow ochre glaze with ridging around the body and a pie crust base. It measures 9cm tall, about 8cm wide and 10cm including the handle. There is some water marking on the inside due to previous use. A nice decorative piece or to use as a small jug vase.
