The solid quarter sawn, half moon oak top has been stripped, sanded, varnished and finally waxed for a durable, silky finish. The rest of the cabinet has been thoroughly cleaned inside and out, sanded and given three coats of a sophisticated deep red matte furniture paint. This has been waxed all over to add a soft sheen and deter dust from sticking and then finished with dark wax to add depth and visual interest.
