I bought this on a day when I was preoccupied by other things on a visit to Rye. Seems I missed the turning it upside down step in the rather chi chi shop I was in. It is very lovely, but I can't say it is vintage as it came from Past Times. They traded from 1987-2012 so it wasn't made yesterday - but you take my point. Things like this were big in the 1980s so it could be an early piece, but I have no way of being sure - and we insist on sure at Mulona Heights. Very pretty conserve pot with original spoon, delightful strawberry atop and pretty leaf and flower design to the front. Great condition, no chips or cracks.
