This antique / vintage steamer has been transformed with a hand painted design of dusky hellebores set against dark graphite. The exterior painted surfaces have been sealed with several layers of satin furniture varnish and the painted interior has been thoroughly cleaned waxed and polished. As with all my vintage pieces this has bumps and blemishes that reflect its previous life adding to its character and charm - this is in great condition with its lovely original brass latch (no key but it engages as intended). Please note that there is a slight dent in the front left corner of the base of the trunk and the trunk sits slightly unevenly on the floor when empty.
