This small vintage stoneware vase was hand thrown by Graham Peter Glyn at his Skipton ceramics studio in North Yorkshire. This design is from the 1980s and is a series of drip glazed abstract shapes in black, blue and brown on an unglazed base which is typical of Glyn 's work. The inside is glazed in brown. It has a slight conical shape which lends itself to good use as a pet pot or small utensil holder as well as a vase. It measures 10.5cm tall, 6.5cm across the base and 5.8cm across the top and is in good vintage condition. A piece of traditional pottery with a modern design twist.
