Absolutely beautiful and rare example of a vintage Welsh Tapestry Blanket. These are handmade to this day in Wales and this one in particular was made in Pembroke. They are striking and so special as they are double sided meaning you can change between the two tones and patterns when you fancy. This colour way is very rare and special and could even be described as Art Deco in style, spot the star motifs. This one was made with a bed in mind as the shape flows beautifully over a double bed. It has a hand crocheted trim around 3 sides of the blanket with one side left to stop itching around the face. Roughly 240cm x 240cm, see photos of it on a bed.
