This large Denby Arabesque Jug/Vase is a stunning piece of mid-century modern pottery made in England in the 1970s. It stands at approximately 21cm tall and 10cm in diameter discounting spout and handle. Check dimensions when comparing to similar items, as smaller milk jugs are also available. This particular piece was originally a milk/juice jug, but has most recently been used a a vase, so has some minor residual bits inside to be soaked off. Would still be great as a vase, but also for gravy or custard. Good condition - no chips or cracks. Stunning as a statement piece on its own. Denby is known for its strength and reliability and the Arabesque pattern (which started production in 1963) is an iconic design of its day, so would also be possible to collect and build the collection as an every day service.
