An early 20th century railway station light by William Sugg & Co. A fully electrically converted 3 burner gas lantern with enameled copper pendant lamp, with adapter ring to change up to a larger fisherman's style glass dome. Sugg lamps were used to illuminate London and the world in the 19th century and were later used throughout the British railway network. The lamp has been fully converted and is suitable for indoor use. This example has glorious verdigris on the unpolished copper and the conversion has been completed without removing the original gas components.
