A stunning composition from the very versatile and listed artist Curt Agge. Harmonious colour in heavily applied thick impasto oil with sweeping & confident brushstrokes. A Swedish modernist artist (1929-2021) Agge’s work is on display in several Swedish museums (Sundsvall, Hudiksvall, Östersund and Vasa museums) and his work is also part of the German state collection. This is a larger painting 47 x 97 cms including the frame. Painting and frame are in lovely vintage condition, it is slightly loose in the frame but doesn’t prevent it hanging well.
