Cute little vintage Sylvac Paddy’s Black Pig money box. Ceramic with the classic Sylvac satin glaze, very tactile. Has its original accompanying little lucky verse card. A sweet little item, would make a charming good luck gift. In good vintage condition. No chips, nibbles etc. There’s a little paint slip area on the back, which would have occurred during manufacture. There is a piece of plastic inside the pig, which rattles. I’ve tried to remove it but don’t want to risk damage. I suspect this might be part of its mold? There is no opening at the bottom, so I’d suggest just using this as an ornament as your pennies would be very difficult to remove! Measures approximately 11cm nose to tail....more
