This stunning lidded ginger jar is decorated with the 'Double Happiness' pattern. It is very large at 11 inches high and makes a real statement. This pattern of jar is often known as a wedding jar traditionally given as a wedding gift This is likely to be a later reproduction of earlier jars of this type possibly produced in the 60s or 70s. It is a really stunning piece of statement decor. In very good condition with one small blot to paintwork as per photos and some firing holes around the rim from the original firing.
