A pretty little Japanese ceramic chokin photo frame with geisha girl and Japanese landscape design on the right and small photo aperture on the left. 'The images are created by etching pure copper and then gilding it with silver and gold. The engravings were originally created to decorate the armament of the samurai warriors. This art form was handed down for over eight hundred years'. The frame measures 14cm wide by 10cm high. With the aperture being 6cm by 4.5cm.
