A pretty little Japanese ceramic chokin vase with a geisha girl design. 'The images are created by etching pure copper and then gilding it with silver and gold. The engravings were originally created to decorate the armament of the samurai warriors. This art form was handed down for over eight hundred years'. The vase measures 9.5cm high, is 8.5cm wide and has a 4cm by 2cm opening at the top. It is in lovely condition with no fading.
