'Thumbs up' Hand-painted Decorative Tile

The tiles have been decorated using a traditional Spanish technique called Majolica. A white tin glaze is hand poured onto the bisque fired tile, left to cure for several days and then hand painted on top using underglazes, stains and oxides. The tile is slow fired for a final time up to a mighty warm 1040 degree heat. The tiles can be mixed with plain white tiles which can keep your costs low when it comes to your decorating needs. All white tiles sold in shops will be varied in the white colour which can make it tricky to match the tiles so if you plan to mix the painted tiles with plain white tiles I recommend buying the plain white tiles I make, this will ensure the white glazes will match.
