Tizio 50 desk lamp, designed in 1972 by Richard Sapper for Artemide. Black finish with red detials and counterweight mechanism. This is an old edition, recognizable by lampshade which has no glass Infront of the bulb, and the absence of the thin metal rod to adjust the direction of the light. These details were introduced in the 1990s for later versions. Italy, c. 1970/1980 Base 11cm Maximum height 119 cm Working order. UK 3 pin plug. Counterweight mechanism intact.
