Trio of Rosa Ljung Ceramic Cats - Deco, Sweden

Rosa Ljung (1917-1983) is famous for her broad and unique range of ceramic animals, birds and figurines, decorated with flowers and posies. She designed for Deco in Helsingborg, Sweden, between 1967 and her death on 1983. Although not originally a “set”, I’ve combined three variations of her large cat figurines here to create a very decorative group. Swipe though the pictures to see them at different angles and you really can imagine them as real cats with a mutual, focussed attention on the same thing! The largest cat is uncoloured and stands at 24cm tall. The cat looking to the side is 20cm tall and has a violet, pinky-purple and green garland around its neck. Tbe smallest of the three is 18.5cm tall and has a posy bib in the same colours. The two smaller cats are both labelled - see final picture for condition.
