This outstanding design seen on this tea set is named ‘peacock eye’ and is renowned with in the pottery world. The pieces are made from deep red eathenware clay that is found in Troyan. The design is known as feathered and as you can see in the images it is extremely eye catching. This set could be used as a special occasion tea set or as an everyday piece. This large tea set consisting of six cups and saucers, tea pot, sugar pot and milk jug originated from Bulgaria Troyan. Please take note that this is a second hand preloved item so will have some signs of wear. As seen in the images there is one slight chip on the top of the sugar bowl lid, seen in listing images.
