Two Chinese Hand carved Antler Figurines

These are two beautiful hand carved from Antler Chinese figurines They represent two of the 8 immortals or Gods The female immortal’s name is He Xiangu, originally named He Qiong, she is often seen as the only female among the 8 immortals and so represents women She is depicted holding a basket with flowers, probably Lotus and she has a Crane at her feet, the carving detail is absolutely fabulous She has some slight damage to the right hand fingers but really not overly noticeable and a small mark on her head otherwise looks to be in beautiful condition Her height is 27.5cm Diameter of the base 7cm The male immortal is Shoulao, the god of longevity, he’s depicted as a gentle and smiling figure with an exaggerated high forehead, he holds a staff and gourd and the fruit of the Pao Tuo tree which blossoms every 3 thousand years and only bears its peaches 3 thousand years later The detail is superb and looks to be in beautiful condition size- As above please see all photos...more
