This striking unique lampshade is perfect for table lamp or small standard lamp. This is a traditional style lampshade frame brought up to date in a high quality designer cotton toile du jouy bird fabric in a beautiful shade of blue. The shade is balloon lined in a quality ivory fabric which covers the frame. A perfect statement piece for any room. This shade is totally unique and will not be seen in anyone else's home!! The frame is a empire shape with scalloped top and bottom. The outside of the lampshade is covered with blue toile du jouy; trimmed with blue velvet ribbon and a fancy french blue braid on the top and bottom scallop. The lampshade frame is bound and each panel is hand sewn individually onto the frame in a traditional method which makes for a sturdy lampshade. The trim and lining is then hand sewn in place.
