Upcycled Art Deco Sideboard

Rhoda H101 W120 D46 Free delivery mainland Britain Vintage professionally hand painted three door, three drawer Art Deco sideboard. The piece has been repaired, cleaned, sanded, treated with 5 star wood treatment and painted in deep teal valspar furniture paint. This paint is very durable with a smooth, matt finish and the the deep teal tones are set off by the chocolate brown Fusion Mineral Paint on the legs and door handle mountings.The piece has been waxed all over to add a soft sheen and deter dust from sticking and then finished with dark wax to add depth and visual interest, particularly picking the carved sections between the doors. The interiors have been cleaned and oiled and internal drawer fronts painted to match the outside. All drawers are constructed with dovetail joints, fit beautifully and are waxed to ensure a smooth action. This eye-catching 1930s dresser has been well treated over its 90 or so years and though not "as new" it is strong and fully functional....more
