Upcycled Vintage Footstool: Worcestershire

Fun and funky - check out my upcycled “Worcestershire Sauce” vintage footstool. It was the lovely dansette legs on this stool that gave me the idea to give it a Worcestershire Sauce makeover - the legs reminded me of the neck of the sauce bottle! The footstool has been fully stripped, sanded and painted in Annie Sloan chalk paint in a customised colour which was hand mixed from Athenian Black and Honfleur to represent the dark brown colour of the sauce bottle. The footstool was then reupholstered with new foam, wadding and calico cloth in a curved edge to represent the curve of the sauce bottle. Finally it was covered with a vintage Worcestershire Sauce label fabric and set off with a black nail trim.
