Refurbished vintage 1940’s oak footstool. Woodwork has been stripped and re-finished. Seat has been re-upholstered completely. The stool has been upholstered with foam and wadding, before being covered with a bold blue floral patterned fabric from John Lewis. The fabric is called “Flower of Nepal”, and is a mix of cotton and linen. The result is a lovely contemporary item of furniture, with more than a nod to the past. The stool is in sound vintage condition, with no breaks to the wood or loose joints. It is pre-loved, so will various signs accompanied with age and everyday usage.
