Beautiful large framed vintage print of a painting on linen by Vernon Ward. Named “Golden Screen”, it depicts a pair of mallard ducks flying over water, with overhanging branches of yellow laburnum. It’s clear to see a Japanese influence on the artist in this piece. This is a scarce print, especially in this larger size. Measures approximately 31cm/12.5” x 41.5cm/16.5” In good vintage condition. Just a light scratch to the glass, which was so unnoticeable it was very difficult to capture - but please do check the photos thoroughly. I’ve replaced one of the eye fastenings at the back with a new one....more
