The top has inlaid ash that surrounds the Red Leather. The base has a large central drawer that is flanked on either side by a total of 8 drawers. The desk is raised on a plinth base, with castors added later to enable easier movement of the unit. While the occasional scratch or blemish may be present, rest assured that these subtle marks do not in any way detract from the exquisite beauty or enduring quality of this piece.
